Transportation

 PRIVATE CAR:

• Most parents bring their children to OSLS in their own car; some parents had formed CARPOOLS.


• The school's office can help individual parents locate other families that live in proximity to them, so they may arrange such carpools.

 PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

• OSLS is located along the Q-11 bus line on Woodhaven Blvd. and just a block and a half south of where the Q-38 intersects Woodhaven Blvd.


• Older students are issued passes for city busses at the request of their parents or guardians.

 PRIVATE YELLOW BUS SERVICE:

• If transportation is a problem, parents may contract directly with C&P TRANSPORTATION, a private bus company which services OSLS and offers door-to-door service to many neighborhoods in North-Central Queens.
